San Heytens, APRN-CNP

San grew up in Southwestern Kansas, where she and her family continue to reside. She initially graduated from Dodge City Community College with her certificate in nursing in 2006 and practiced as a LPN while completing her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2007. During her 15 years as an RN, she worked in acute, chronic, preventative, specialty, and leadership roles until she graduated with her Doctorate in Nurse Practice with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner in 2022 from Fort Hays State University. Additionally, she completed a one year fellowship in rural and telehealth from the University of Kansas. As a provider she has worked in Family Practice, Occupational Health, and Urgent Care.

When not at work, San enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs.
