Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health Services

In today’s complex educational landscape, addressing the mental health needs of our students is paramount to their overall well-being and academic success.

At Xpress Wellness Behavioral Health, we understand the challenges schools face in providing comprehensive mental health support, particularly in underserved rural areas. That’s why we’re proud to offer innovative and accessible behavioral health services to meet the needs of students, faculty, and communities.

Our Commitment to Mental Health

Xpress Wellness Behavioral Health provides high-quality mental health services to students, families, and school personnel. Our team of highly qualified, fully licensed mental health professionals and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners is committed to delivering compassionate care and support to address a wide range of mental health concerns.

Breaking Down Barriers: Telehealth Services

We recognize that accessing mental health services can be challenging, especially in rural communities. That’s why we’ve embraced telehealth technology to bring our services directly to students, overcoming geographical and logistical barriers to care. Through telehealth counseling and medication management, students can conveniently access mental health support from licensed professionals without leaving the school environment.

Tailored Interventions Offered to Meet Unique Needs of Each Individual

Crisis Intervention
Timely response and support for students experiencing acute psychological distress or behavioral crisis.

Assessment & Treatment Planning
Collaborative assessment and personalized treatment planning with input from students, families, and schools.

Individual Psychotherapy
One-on-one counseling sessions to empower students in navigating academic, social, behavioral, and emotional challenges successfully.

Family Psychotherapy
Support for families to address dynamics impacting the mental health and well-being of each family member.

Medication Evaluation & Management
Comprehensive assessment and management of psychiatric medications by specialized nurse practitioners.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Our telehealth platform is HIPAA compliant, and we work closely with students, families, and schools to ensure a confidential and private environment for all services. With consent from a guardian, the provider will collaborate with the school as needed.

Eligibility and Access

Our services are designed to be inclusive and accessible to anyone 8-years old and above.

The patient needs to be at an appropriate developmental stage and have the necessary cognitive abilities to benefit from mental health services in a telehealth method. The provider will assess the patient’s appropriateness for telehealth services and will make recommendations if telehealth services are determined to be inappropriate. In-person counseling is available in certain locations.

We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and offer discounted cash-pay options for those without insurance coverage.

Participants must have access to and the ability to use the necessary technology, such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet, with internet access to participate in telehealth sessions.

Parental consent is required for students under 18, with a few exceptions made, such as emergency crisis intervention.

Parental consent and intake forms can be provided electronically.
