Oklahoma City, OK. (January 3rd, 2023) – Xpress Wellness Urgent Care announced today the official roll out of Behavioral Health Services.

Behavioral Health: Available Now!

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is thrilled to announce we’re now offering behavioral health services in our Oklahoma based Clinics. We believe there’s a shortage in the availability of behavioral health treatment in our communities, and we’re excited to be a part of the solution to this problem.

“All of us are challenged with life’s stresses and pressures,” said CEO Grant Asay. “Needing someone to talk to and work through these challenges is really important, but frequently, the services just aren’t available.”

If you’re struggling with your behavioral health, we hope you’ll contact us soon. We have immediate openings to schedule an appointment for behavioral health concerns.

What we treat

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care can address a wide variety of behavioral health concerns involving emotional regulation, ways of thinking, behavioral issues, and social interactions. Some examples of challenges that can be addressed include:

  • Anxiety, Stress, Anger, Depression, and Grief
  • Traumatic Experiences
  • Sleeping problems
  • Difficulties at School, Work, or Home
  • Difficulties in Relationships, Conflict Resolution, and Effective Communication
  • Impulsive Behavior and Hyperactivity
  • Weight Management
  • Long-Term Illness or Chronic Pain
  • Sexuality, Gender Identity, Sexual Performance, Inappropriate Sexual Behaviors
  • Tobacco Cessation or Other Addictions

Why choose Xpress Wellness for your behavioral health needs?

Xpress practices the primary care behavioral health (PCBH) consultation model, which integrates behavioral health into a primary care setting. When receiving treatment for behavioral and physical health separately, you risk increased costs, fragmented treatments, and wasted time.

“Putting behavioral health services in an urgent care environment will help people get the help they need in a faster, more accessible way,” said Behavioral Health Program Director Justin Simmons. “Our program will provide faster access to counseling where it is difficult to find the help you need, especially with high demand and low availability in many communities.”

More and more people are realizing the benefit of talking to someone about their emotions to promote a more satisfying life. We can be your home for overall well-being, saving you time and money while providing more robust services.

“This expansion fits really well with our name and mission,” said Grant Asay. “We are a “wellness” company and truly want to meet our patient’s needs, “mind, body and soul.”
