Lorena Salazar

Lorena Salazar has been a part of the Marietta community since she was 13. She obtained her CNA through Southern Technology Center in her junior year of high school and her Medical Assistant Certification in her senior year of high school. On top of going to high school and taking CareerTech classes, Lorena also worked at a nursing home after school and on her weekends. After graduating from Marietta High School, Lorena continued her work in healthcare by working for a local doctor in Ardmore until his retirement. That is when she entered the urgent care modality.

Lorena was a Medical Assistant for Xpress Wellness for 2 years providing amazing patient care before being promoted to Clinic Manager. Lorena shows immense compassion for her patients and wants each to feel like they are in good hands.

Lorena’s family taught her compassion and to help people however she can. She was raised by a hard-working father and an intensely caring mother and says she owes her great work ethic and kind heart to them. Lorena loves her younger sisters, Maribel, Ysenia and Blanca, and takes her role of being the big sister and role model seriously.
