Darin Elo MD, FACEP

Darin Elo MD, FACEP is a Board Certified Emergency Physician practicing at the Lawrence, Kansas Xpress Wellness Urgent Care. He served as the Lead Clinical Physician at Promptcare for 13 years before joining the Xpress team. He graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in 1996 and completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Missouri, Kansas City facility at Truman Medical Center. He was awarded a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2000 and has worked as an Emergency Physician at Emergency Departments in Lawrence and the Kansas City area. Dr. Elo enjoys teaching and has been a physician educator for both nurse practitioner and physician assistant students for many years. In his free time, Dr.Elo is a triathlete and cyclist, enjoys spending time with family, hiking and mountaineering, as well as carpentry and woodworking.
