We have recently been made aware of a fraudulent job scam involving individuals using email addresses ending in @xpresswellnesshr.com who are falsely claiming to represent Xpress Wellness Urgent Care.
These individuals are not employees of Xpress Wellness Urgent Care, have no hiring authority, and are not affiliated with Xpress Wellness Urgent Care in any way.
As part of this scam, these individuals are:
- Impersonating staff of Xpress Wellness Urgent Care.
- Offering fake job opportunities for Medical Virtual Assistants at Xpress Wellness Urgent Care that do not exist.
- Sending direct deposit forms, employee tax forms and fake handbooks to those who respond to their posts on TikTok, in an attempt to collect sensitive personal information.
Please be aware of common signs of job scams, which may include:
- The job is posted on TikTok or other social platforms, but not listed on Xpress Wellness Urgent Care’s official careers webpages.
- You do not meet with a hiring manager.
- You are requested to provide payment or credit card or bank account information in connection with submitting a resume or application.
- The persons you interact with have emails from domains other than @xpwell.com.
- The recruiters you interact with do not provide verifiable contact information.
To protect yourself, please remember:
- All legitimate job openings at Xpress Wellness Urgent Care will be posted on our official careers webpages.
- Our hiring process includes phone interviews and either in-person or video interviews, where applicants will have the opportunity to meet members of our team.
- We will not communicate with you through social media messenger apps.
- We will not ask for direct deposit information at the same time you submit your application or resume.
If you suspect you have been contacted by someone fraudulently claiming to represent Xpress Wellness Urgent Care, please report it to us at mckensey.elkouri@xpwell.com and do not share any personal or financial information.
