Kelly Jones, APRN-CNP

Kelly Jones, APRN is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, who joined the Lawrence, Kansas Xpress Wellness Urgent Care in 2023. Kelly has worked in healthcare since 2008, graduating from Baker University School of Nursing in 2010, and the Maryville University Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2019. Kelly’s role as a nurse practitioner has been primarily focused on Emergency and Urgent Care, but she also loves teaching and working with students.

Kelly is a lifelong KU Basketball fan and enjoys all things outdoors, including hiking, biking, and softball. The Lawrence team was excited to welcome Kelly back to the clinic as a Nurse Practitioner, having worked with her for four years previously as a Registered Nurse under previous ownership. Kelly, her partner, and their five children love calling Lawrence home. After having practiced in other areas for the last few years, Kelly is thrilled to be providing care to members of her home community again.
