Xpress Wellness Urgent Care celebrated the opening of its new Hutchinson location on Wednesday, Jan. 27, near the Hutchinson mall.
The 3,600-square-foot facility at 1805½ E. 17th Ave., which is between Chic-Fil-A and Pizza Ranch, offers convenient access to urgent care for non-life-threatening conditions for patients of all ages.
Onsite services including computerized X-ray, lab testing and EKG allow for quick point-of-care testing and rapid diagnosis.
Adults and children will find comprehensive medical care services for conditions such as the common cold, flu, sprains/strains, cuts/scrapes, allergies, infections, physicals and much more.
Employers will also enjoy services such as pre-employment physicals, DOT physicals, spirometry, drug and alcohol testing and treatment for work-related injuries.
Most insurance plans are accepted, and a competitive self-pay option is available for uninsured patients.
“Our goal is to provide convenient, quality care close to home,” said Scott Williams, founder and chief medical officer, in a news release. “We are looking forward to bringing our patient-centered care to the Hutchinson community.”
“One of the biggest questions we get asked today is, ‘do you test for coronavirus?’ ” Williams said. “We do provide COVID-19 testing for the active virus, rapid testing for asymptomatic patients and can test for antibodies, as well.”
The new clinic in Hutchinson is the 26th location for the Oklahoma-based company and one of six locations in Kansas, all of which have opened in the past 18 months.
Hours of operation for in-person and Virtual Visits care are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday.
