Pediatric Care for Children

Urgent Care for Your Child When You Need It

We know that it can be frustrating when your child needs medical attention for a cold or minor injury, and your family doctor’s office is closed for the evening or weekend. Kids just don’t schedule getting sick around doctor’s office hours! Xpress Wellness Urgent Care hopes to help you get your children the pediatric care they need when they need it. All of our locations across Oklahoma and Kansas are conveniently open Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm, and open on Sundays from 1 pm to 7 pm. When your kiddo is sick or has sustained an injury, we want you to know that Xpress Wellness is more than just urgent care — we can treat just about anything that your normal family practice would, and at more convenient times! Bring your child to see us when they’re feeling under the weather with non-life-threatening issues, which we’ll describe below.

Head to the ER Immediately If…

While there are several things that we can treat children for at Xpress Wellness, when it comes to more life-threatening or dire circumstances, they must receive emergency medical attention from an emergency room. If your child is experiencing any of the following, call 911 or take them to the emergency room right away:

  • Head injury or trauma
  • Child is unresponsive
  • Blood in urine or stool
  • Deep cuts or broken bones
  • Extremely high temperature that will not go down
  • Inability to breathe

We encourage you to always do what you are comfortable with when it comes to pediatric care for your child. When in doubt, it is always better to be safe than sorry. If your child does not appear to be at immediate risk, bring them to see us at Xpress Wellness.
